Glued up Mesquite Bookmatch table top

76" long bookmatched mesquite, filled and surfaced. overall dimensions are 76" x 30" wide. Black Epoxy Filled and joined. Surfaced Flat to 40 grit. The epoxy will be jet black when finish sanded and polished.

 

These are very unique boards that have a lot of character and figure. Different levels of spaulting run throughout the board giving it many different natural color changes. It may require a bit of stabilizing with several coats of thin finish to solidify the spaulted areas, but will no doubt create a one of a kind finished piece. Great for a small kitchen or dinning table!
