Our Epoxy filled lumber is a great way to save time and money on your mesquite project. Mesquite lumber is known for its checks and voids and are seen as its character. Filling the voids with black epoxy not only stabilizes the wood and gives a flat, void free surface to work with but also finishes beautifully and gives a great contrast to the dark red/ brown mesquite color. The epoxy finishes jet black after sanding. 

 

Measurements are taken at the longest and widest points unless otherwise listed.

 

Epoxy Fill looks blue or gray before it is finish sanded. This is because epoxy is like plastic and the color you see is from our abrasive plainer leaving sanding scratches. This will turn black when it is sanded to finer grits like 220 or 320 and finish is applied. You can see examples of finished products in our gallery that have black epoxy fill.
